There will always be guests too reluctant to leave the wedding room after each reception. Even when they have been warned that the reception has ended and that the last has been played. That is why every couple should think of the wedding reception after party to satisfy the guests. When they are not ready to call it a night, it only means that they are having a great time at the reception and this is actually very good. So no matter how tired the bride and groom are, spend a little bit more time and entertain the guests.

The wedding room may be booked for the night anyway, so why not give something more for the guests who have come all the way to attend to the wedding reception. There are three common after party paths. The first would be something that is more spontaneous where all the remaining guests are invited to the bar to have a fun conversation with the groom and bride. Let the music play softly to set the mood of the more intimate gathering. It does not have to come from a DJ; it can only be something that is played over CD.

The second after party may only be joined by the guests. They do not really care if there is an open tab or not and they are not even at the bar because they are invited there, simply because the wedding room may have simply be too quiet and the perfect area to stay around a while is at the bar. This is something even more spontaneous. The host may not even be aware of this.

The third path is actually the one that is most organized or the second party. Sometimes the couple use the first reception party for the family time and the wedding room is well lit and filled with young, old and children, but then after the night has come and the children have left, it is time for the mature guests to party.

The well organized after party may be even simpler than the first one where there is not even a DJ playing at the wedding room. Although simpler, but it does not mean that it is as spontaneous as the first path. The main difference of the third path is the cost, legwork and possibility of snafus. Snafus may happen if the bar is overcrowded with the remaining guests.
